You are hereby informed that the National Media Federation (NMF) is “a progressive organization of journalists.” It was first initiated during a journalists’ conference held in Rishikesh in 2004. Later, through a legal process in Delhi, it was formally registered at the national level in the year 2009.
The objective of the National Media Federation is to organize, protect, and empower journalists, writers, photographers, cameramen, editors, and professionals associated with print media, television, films, and social media. It also aims to connect their media organizations with the federation so that these brave media warriors can safeguard democracy, serve society, and carry out their professional journalistic duties fearlessly and responsibly.
The National Media Federation (NMF) is also a national platform dedicated to the protection of journalists from print, electronic, and social media.
